BRICKIES BUILDING SAND

Brickies sand (also known as bricklayer's sand) is a type of sand that contains high amounts of clay. This allows it to become stickier when mixed with cement and becomes more workable by enhancing its blending and bonding characteristics.

PLASTER SAND

A washed fine aggregate sand which is a primary ingredient in plaster mixes. It is commonly used in concrete mixes for mortar or stucco and in concrete specialty products such as roofing tile.

WASHED WHITE SAND

Commonly used for playgrounds or sand pits, White Washed Sand is a washed silica sand. This sand is also used for sweeping in between new pavers once they have been laid, to help stabilise them and “lock” them in.

CRACKER DUST

Cracker Dust. Also known as decomposed granite, blue metal dust or crusher dust. This is a fine crushing of our local blue metal. It is commonly used as a base for artificial lawns, in paving screeds and also can be used in pathways and driveways. Compacts down really well while still allowing good drainage.

CRUSHED LIMESTONE

Crushed Limestone is typically used as a sub-base for trafficable areas such as driveways and footpaths.  The crushed limestone is spread and compacted to provide a firm base for laying and screeding paving sand prior to installing brick pavers or concrete. Crushed limestone can also be used as footpaths when compacted.

BLUE METAL GRAVEL 14MM AND 20MM

Blue Metal is a natural aggregate that is commonly used for drainage in many different fields. Its many uses include backfilling trenches, around PVC and Ag-Pipe, for drainage behind retaining walls and even as a base for concrete and deep garden beds to promote drainage.

SOIL CONDITIONER

Soil conditioners are soil amendments that improve the soil structure by increasing aeration, water holding capacity, and nutrients. They loosen up compacted, hard pan and clay soils and release locked up nutrients. Soil conditioners can also raise or lower pH levels.

LANDSCAPE MIX

Landscaper's Mix is an effective soil amendment that can be used for rejuvenating existing flower and shrub beds. This organic mix includes organic compost and small pine particles that add organic matter into existing beds.

SPECIAL LAWN MIX

A blend of lawn sand, fertilisers, and red loam.
Great for top dressing existing lawn areas or planting of new lawns. meaning great drainage, great stability and minimal slump under lawns. An ideal organic mixture formulated to make the perfect lawn soil. Designed to produce thick green growth with strong root structure.

BUDGET BLACK MULCH

Budget Black is a thick and dark garden mulch that is suitable for all landscaping projects. It is made of a blend of pasteurised tree grinding and fines. The contrast of Budget Black's rich dark colour helps highlight your garden plants, statues and water features. Friendly with native Australian plants.

KARRI AND PEAT MULCH

Turn once at mid-season to allow for even breakdown of mulch. Apply 100mm thick for optimal ground coverage.

WOOD CHIP MULCH

Wood chips are one of the best mulches for trees and shrubs, but may not be the best for annuals and vegetables. Wood chips absorb more water than many other mulches, water which both cools the soil and is slowly released to plants.

FILL SAND

Fill sand is recommended for many projects that require a backfill material because it compacts into a solid mass. It is often used as a base for concrete and to fill around septic tanks. Fill dirt is used in low-lying construction sites to raise building foundations, reducing the chances of flooding.

FIRE WOOD

Everybody can enjoy renewable and carbon neutral firewood that is perfect for your wood heater, fire-pit or wood oven.
It is moisture meter tested to be seasoned dry to burn nicely with minimal smoke. Is also free from excessive dust, bark, chips, charcoal residue, termites and any other foreign materials.
